2024 PNWGFA Scholarship is now OPEN!!

Applications and supplemental information were required by April 5, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY (*please note this important criteria*)
All Direct members in good standing with the Pacific Northwest Grain & Feed Association:
  1. Immediate family members of a Direct member.
  2. Employee and/or a legal dependent of a Direct member.
  3. Owner/Patrons, or their legal dependents, of a Direct member firm. You may call PNWGFA office to verify a PNWGFA Direct member.
  4. All candidates must have received a letter of acceptance or be enrolled in an accredited college, university or community college. Consideration will be given to, but not limited to students who have chosen a career in some area of agriculture, business, home economics or vocational education.
  5. Applicants may only be awarded a PNWGFA Scholarship once; previous winners not eligible again.

Application Procedure
The following must be submitted:

  1. Complete 2024 Scholarship Application

  2. 2024 Applicant's Statement (included in application or via separate sheet)
  3. 2024 Instructor Statement & Signature
  4. 2024 Signatures for Applicant & Parent/Guardian
  5. *A letter of introduction and recommendation from a PNWGFA Direct Member in good standing.  (Emailed letters will be accepted.)
Selection Process
  1. The scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, potential to succeed, demonstrated leadership, extracurricular accomplishments, work experience and an evaluation by a counselor or adviser.
  2. All recipients must enter school no later than the fall term following the announcement of the scholarship.
